DIY: Succulent Garden

10 Jul

I am very excited about this post!  Last week I posted a picture of a preview of the succulent garden I have been working on and today I am giving you the instructions for this DIY project.  I have been obsessed with succulents for awhile now but haven’t had the time to create the project I have had in mind.  For this project I decided to use mason jars because I have had a bunch lying around from my sister’s wedding but there are a lot of other types of pots you can use.  I had a lot of fun working on this project and I hope you like it too! Below are all the instructions you need to create your own succulent garden.  Enjoy!

Materials:
– Succulents (I bought mine at a grocery store and at west elm)
– Mason jars
– Potting soil
– A small shovel
– Watering can
– Crate – to display your succulents

Very cool, Michele! I too have “discovered” succelents. So cute, easy to care for, and I love all the different types. I love your blog, too. Thanks for posting. It encourages me to create on those days when I need a little nudge.

Thank you Aunt Cheryl! How is all the wedding planning going? Let me know if you need any help with anything! I am planning on baking two pumpkin pies so far. Also, I loved Hillary’s save the date!
